After thorough discussion, we launched our first workshop - The Week of Sustainability. This project is targeted at a vast audience and aims to equip the typical Indian with the knowledge and perspective to transform their lifestyles to be more planet-friendly. Our project is based on the belief that we all have the power to make positive changes around us by acting within our capabilities as a community. Every decision taken with an ecological mindset could add up to be collectively impactful. Climate change is an ‘everybody problem’, and we need ‘everybody’s effort’. We also engage with community resilience, green jobs, and the intersectionality of climate change.
At HFSW, we believe in action through education and awareness among young people to bring tangible and meaningful change. This is especially significant for climate action because young people are the major stakeholders in the planet’s future. Stay tuned for all of our upcoming projects; we would love for you to participate in our workshops and events.
We are also proud members of the International Association for Adolescent Health (IAAH), and United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY) and Constituency Members of Sustainable Development Goal 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy.
